· Begins with dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by dancing until 8:30 p.m. Sliced turkey and ham will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share such as a vegetable, potatoes, gravy, salad, rolls, cranberry sauce or dessert and RSVP what you would like to bring so I can make sure we have some of everything to go with the entrée. Try to bring in your dish around 5:15.
· Also bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. Service ware will be provided. This dance will be in the Woodland Community Center Banquet Rooms and cost is $6, as usual.Country Western Line Dance continues each Tuesday as follows:
6:00 – 6:30 p.m. Beginners: All dances will be beginner level dances for those with little or no experience in line dance. Experienced dancers are also welcome.
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. All levels: Dance levels from beginner to intermediate will be mixed throughout the evening.
Cost: $6 per person can be paid at the dances with cash, Venmo to Judy Bechthold (QR code is available at check-in) or a check made payable to “City of Woodland”.
Location : The Banquet Room is located in the northwestern corner of the Woodland Community Center (to the left as you enter the grounds from East Street) and can be accessed through the courtyard. The address is 2001 East Street, Woodland. Occasionally we need to move our dances to the big gym which is located straight across from the main entry or even to the YMCA on the back side of the Center. I will try to notify you before dance day if there is a change.
Notes : Bring your own non-alcoholic drinks and wear shoes that are secure to your foot, no flipflops or slides.
All the information above will be applied to the Friday monthly dances. There will be no instruction. However, most dances will have a walk-through. Snacks to share are optional.
