Country Western Line Dancing in Woodland
MONTHLY DANCE: Friday evening, 4/19, is our Monthly Country Western Dance at the Woodland Community Center, 2001 East Street, Woodland, in the Banquet Room from 6:00 p.m. 8:45 p.m. We dance everything from low-beginner to intermediate dances with some couples' choreographed dances during the evening. Most dances are reviewed before dancing.
Cost for the dance is $6 per person payable at the dance. You can pay with cash or a check made payable to "City of Woodland". Bring your own non-alcoholic drink and a snack to share (opt).
BEGINNER CLASSES : Beginner classes will start 4/24/19 and go through 5/29/19 (note: this start date is different than what was in the March News). The classes are held each Wednesday evening for six weeks. These are basic beginner level classes for those with no, or very little, line dance experience and go from 7:00-8:30 p.m. It's important to start at the beginning of a session and continue throughout the session to get the maximum benefit from the classes.
Between 8:30-9:00 p.m. a high beginner dance will be taught for those with previous line dance experience.
Also during these sessions, couples' choreographed dances will be taught from 6:30-7:00 p.m. before each class. Please be as prompt as possible since time is limited. Singles are welcome to come too since most couples' dances can be danced as a single. Previous line dance experience is needed.
All classes are at the San Bruno Bowling Center, 154 W. Main Street, Woodland. Cost is $6 per person (includes Couples' dances) payable at the class with cash or a check made payable to "Judy Bechthold". Beer, wine, sodas and food are available for purchase.
TUESDAY WEEKLY DANCING: Country Western Line Dances are held every Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:45 p.m. at the San Bruno Bowling Center, 154 W. Main Street, Woodland.
